A little history

Westview takes its name from Westview Cemetery, which opened in 1884. A streetcar line was extended along what is now Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard to the cemetery gate, and the neighborhood grew along it in the early 1900s. Today an active neighborhood organization cares for its triangle parks and works on preservation and community projects.

What it’s like to live in Westview

Westview has a slower, front-porch pace. The Beltline Westside Trail runs along the east side, connecting you to West End and Lee + White’s breweries and food. Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard has local restaurants and shops, West End MARTA station is a short trip east and I-20 is just to the north.
