- Work through due diligence. Due diligence happens after your offer is accepted. It’s when you get the house inspected, which will show you anything that might be wrong with the property. You can work with your agent and request any necessary repairs.
- Finish your finances and appraisal contingency. Your loan will have to go through, and the bank will do an appraisal on the house. Remember that they will only lend you up to what they think the home is worth.
