DowntownDowntown Atlanta is the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia. Only four square miles, Downtown houses approximately 13,358 residents, and is one of the most diverse populations in the city of Atlanta.The nine neighborhoods are Castleberry Hill, Centennial Hill, Fairlie-Popular, Five-Points, Hotel District, Luckie Marietta, Peachtree Center, SoNo (South of North Avenue) and South Downtown. State Farm Arena is home to the Atlanta Hawks. Mercedes Benz Stadium opened in 2017 and is home to Atlanta United and the Atlanta Falcons. It is a common venue for concerts and conventions.
