Chosewood Park

Chosewood Park is located five minutes southeast of Downtown Atlanta. Chosewood Park is named after the six-acre park near the neighborhood's center offering tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, and a children's playground. Chosewood Park, which was built in the early 20th century, was mostly worker housing for the nearby Federal Penitentiary. Today, this neighborhood is full of many 1900s craftsman-style bungalows that are being actively renovated.

This community has an active neighborhood association hosting an annual ice cream social in July. Residents love the inclusive community, green space, and close proximity to downtown. Two of the best features of this neighborhood include: Atlanta Skyline and Atlanta Beltline. Chosewood Park is situated directly on the path of the Atlanta Beltline, a multi-use trail, and the Atlanta Skyline can be seen throughout portions located on a gentle hill providing an unobstructed view. Chosewood is a Beltline community, a designated Edible Neighborhood due to its many fruit trees, and is experiencing lots of renovations and new home development.
